Richard Hawthorne
General Manager
Richard has run resort hotels for 20 years. He joined Royal Reef in 2015 and leads a team of over 400 staff. He is known for greeting guests by name.
Mei-Lin Zhao
Head of Gaming Operations
Mei-Lin manages all 200 table games and 1,500 machines. She has worked in gaming for 15 years across Macau, Melbourne, and now Brisbane.
Chef Pascal Laurent
Executive Chef
Pascal earned two hats from the Good Food Guide. He oversees all six restaurants and brings French flair to fresh Queensland produce.
Sophie Brennan
Spa & Wellness Director
Sophie trained in Bali and Sydney before joining us. She designed the Reef Spa from scratch and hand-picks every treatment on the menu.
Tom Nguyen
Events & Entertainment Manager
Tom books all our live acts and runs every event. He has 10 years in the events game and a contact list that is the envy of Brisbane.
